                1. A non animated -  This is just a stationary banner or picture with links to your web site.
 
                2. A animated GIF -  This type of banner is more advanced than the previous one.  It has scrolling text and or animation of another object.
 
                3. A FLASH animated -  A banner constructed using FLASH animation has unlimited posibilities.  Scrolling text, moving backgrounds, interaction from the viewer, menu bars, are just some of the advantages to FLASH banners.
